Homemade chicken nuggets recipe

Chicken nuggets are a very practical and delicious side dish for breakfast. Not only for breakfast, other times it's also delicious hehe.

It's not surprising that nuggets are a favorite among mothers to stock food in the refrigerator.

Delicious, practical and loved by children.

However, there are times when as mothers we are also worried if our children eat too many processed foods.

Well, it is common knowledge that there are many mixtures of ingredients that need to be considered in the processed foods that are sold.

Therefore, I tried making my own chicken nuggets at home.

Thank God, the kids like it and the taste is no less than the ones sold hehe.

Here are the ingredients and steps for making it:

Ingredients A:

500 g chicken fillet (breast)

1 onion, chopped

5 cloves garlic, minced

2 eggs

5 spoon bread flour

salt 

1/2 tsp ground pepper

Ingredients B:

wheat flour

bread flour

2 eggs

How to make

Step 1

Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, add the garlic, stir-fry until fragrant, then add the onions and cook until slightly wilted. Turn it off, pick it up.

Step 2

Mix chicken, garlic and onion, then grind until soft.

Step 3

Beat the eggs, then add them to the mixture. Add salt and ground pepper to taste, stir well.

Step 4

Add bread flour little by little until the dough is quite dense.

Step 5

Put it in a 20x10x7 pan, grease the pan with cooking oil beforehand. Then steam for 25 minutes.

Step 6

Once cooked, cool then cut into pieces according to taste. Then coat with flour, then add to the beaten egg, then coat in breadcrumbs.

Step 7

Freeze it

One recipe makes around 35 nuggets (6x4cm), medium size and quite a lot.

It can make supplies for the children for 2 weeks if you have time to make other types of frozen food hehe.
