Meat Bread

Meat-filled bread is a favorite of many people, because apart from its delicious taste, it also contains protein so you feel full longer.



This bread is also good for children who are still growing. Because protein is important for their growth and development needs.

Because its shape is not very big, this meat-filled bread is suitable to be taken as a lunch to school.

Ingredients A

400 grams of high wheat flour

100 grams of medium protein flour

2 tbsp powdered milk

10 gr instant yeast

100 gr granulated sugar

2 egg yolks

1 egg white 

230 ml cold water

Ingredients B

80 grams unsalted butter

3/4 tsp salt



How to make bread

1. Mix all ingredients A until smooth and won't stick to the bowl, add ingredients B, mixer until smooth

2. Leave for 45 minutes to inflate, deflate, weigh and round off 30 grams each. Shut up.

3. Flatten, fill with meat filling, cover and trim then leave until it doubles in size, about 1 hour

4. Brush with spread ingredients (1 egg yolk mixed with 1 tsp evaporated milk), sprinkle with white sesame seeds

5. Bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutes, fire up and down

Meat filling ingredients

300 grams of minced meat (can be replaced with other meat)

1 onion thinly sliced

3 red onions, coarsely sliced

1 scallion thinly sliced

Sweet soy sauce according to taste

Oyster sauce 2 tsp

Soy sauce 1 tsp

White pepper 1 tsp

Black pepper

Salt to taste

Sugar to taste

1 tsp flour dissolved in water

How to make meat filling:

1. Saute the onions until fragrant, add the minced meat, stir until it changes color.

2. Add enough water while seasoning, cook until tender, don't make it too dry so it's juicy

3. Sprinkle with spring onions, sprinkle with flour as a binder, set aside

This recipe makes about 20 loaves of bread. There's a lot, right?

Making it does require patience, but it's all worth it.

In terms of cost, of course it is very cheap compared to buying bread.

When making bread, the ingredients for the bread do not require a lot of money. The only thing that makes you impatient is the profing part which takes time.

If you count, there are around 3 profing times. But if you enjoy the process, it's fun too.

Making bread is different from making cake. In making cake, we just mix the ingredients and put them in the oven. Finished. No need to wait any longer.

That's why I prefer making cakes hahaha. But sometimes I want to make bread like this time.
