Chicken Popcorn Recipe

Have you ever been confused about your child's menu for breakfast or their lunch?

Because in the morning it's really busy because you have to prepare a lot of things. Finally, breakfast for children is easy. For example, fried or boiled eggs.



If you have stock of frozen food such as nuggets. Could be an alternative. But if you keep doing that, it's clear that children will get bored.

So as a mother you have to think again about the breakfast menu and lunch for your child.

A few days ago, I tried a popcorn chicken recipe. This chicken is a mainstay menu at famous outlets.

It seems suitable for children's breakfast or for school supplies.

And this is the recipe:

Marinade ingredients

500 gr chicken breast filet

4 cloves garlic

1/4 onion

100 ml milk

3/4 tsp salt

3/4 tsp stock powder / flavoring

1/4 tsp pepper

1/2 tbsp mixed herbs

1 tsp paprika powder

1 tsp vinegar

2 tbsp chili sauce

1 egg

6 tbsp dry flour mixture

Dry flour ingredients

300 gr medium protein wheat flour

2 tsp paprika powder

1 tbsp garlic powder, optional

100 gr cornstarch

1 tbsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

Complementary

Chili sauce

How to make

Step 1

Dry the chicken then slice it the size of one thumbnail, transfer it to a bowl

Step 2

Chop the garlic and onion then blend with milk

Step 3

Add it to the chicken then add salt, stock powder, pepper, mixed herbs, paprika powder, vinegar, chili sauce and eggs, stir well, let stand for 15-30 minutes



Step 4

For dry flour, combine flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika powder, baking powder, salt and pepper, stir well.

Step 5

Add 6 tablespoons of the dry flour mixture to the chicken, stir well

Step 6

Dip the chicken into the dry flour one by one, spread evenly


Step 7

Heat oil, fry chicken until slightly browned over medium low heat

Step 8

Popcorn chicken is ready to be served

If you want to make it into frozen food, you can just fry it briefly, then remove it and let it cool. Put it in the freezer.

If you want to serve it, just fry it until cooked.

If you store this chicken unfried, the chicken will stick together and the fried product won't be crispy.
