Durian Cheese Cake

Who doesn't know durian? In Asian countries, durian fruit is no longer familiar. Commonly referred to as the king of fruit.



During fruit season, durian fruit is abundant at an affordable price. Sometimes because you eat often, you get bored and want to enjoy other preparations. Such as ice cream, pudding or cake.

Well, I once made durian cake, I tried it. Because I was curious about how it would taste when made into cake.

Wow, I didn't expect it to taste so good. Kids and families love it. And this durian cake gives a really luxurious impression.

When it's ripe, the smell reaches everywhere haha. Come on, here are the ingredients for making cake and the steps for making it.

Durian Cheese Cake Ingredients

Material A

4 eggs

1 tsp SP

180 gr granulated sugar

200 gr puree durian flesh

Material B

170 gr wheat flour ∆

30 gr cornstarch

25 grams of powdered milk

Material C

100 gr margarine/butter, melted

100 gr cooking oil

Sprinkling ingredients

Grated cheese

How to make durian cheese cake

Step 1

Mix ingredients A until thick and smooth white.

Step 2

Add ingredient B, stir with a spatula until evenly mixed. If you want to use a mixer, use it on the lowest speed. And when it's mixed well, immediately turn off the mixer.

To avoid the flour becoming soft, it's not good for making cakes.

Step 3

Add ingredient C, stir again with a spatula until evenly mixed. Be careful in this process. Make sure it is mixed thoroughly. If it's not even, it can get messy.

Pour into a baking dish that has been smeared with margarine (can be lined with baking paper or not). I used a 20x10 rectangular baking pan. Sprinkle with grated cheese.

Step 4

Oven at 150°© for 60 minutes or until cooked. Ready to serve.

The texture of the cake is not smooth, because durian itself, even though it has been mashed, still has texture.

The cake is so soft, eating one piece won't be enough haha ​​and it smells great, you know. Can't help it.

Tip: try to get durian with sweet and sticky flesh. So it feels even more legit. And it's a bit tastier, you can use butter instead of margarine. Guaranteed it tastes better.

Because it tastes sweet and legit. This durian cheese cake is perfect when paired with coffee or bitter tea.
