Potato croquettes recipe

 You can call potato croquettes a snack, it can also be said to be a substitute for rice as carbohydrates.

These potato croquettes are quite filling as a snack. So when served as a calorie supplement for children, it is very suitable.



It has a delicious taste and complete nutrition, very good if given at snack time to children. Can also be used as food for children.

Not only do they contain carbohydrates, these potato croquettes also contain animal protein from chicken and milk and also vegetables from carrots.

So, here are the ingredients and how to make it:

Ingredients:

500 gr potatoes

25 grams of powdered milk

½ tsp salt

100 gr bread flour, blended

1 egg, beaten well

Filling contents:

100 gr chicken fillet, coarsely chopped

1 carrot, cut into small dice

1 onion clove, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

100 ml water/fluid milk

Sugar to taste

Salt to taste

Powdered stock to taste

1 tablespoon wheat flour dissolved in 50 ml water

How to make:

MAKE THE FILLING:

1. Saute the onion and garlic until fragrant.

2. Add chicken meat, cook until it changes color.

3. Add carrots, add water, sugar, salt and stock powder. Cook until done.

4. Add the flour solution, stir well until the coarse filling mixture is no longer runny. Remove and cool.

FINISHING:

1. Peel the potatoes, cut them into pieces then fry until cooked over medium heat, don't let them dry brown.

2. Blend while hot.

3. Add milk powder and salt, knead.

4. Take 50 grams of potato mixture, flatten it. Add 20 grams of filling, then form an oval.

5. Coat with breadcrumbs >> beaten egg >> breadcrumbs again, while compacting. Store in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

6. Fry in hot oil over medium heat. Don't turn it over so it doesn't break. Lift and serve.

7. Recipe for 8 potato croquettes.



We can store these potato croquettes as frozen food too. So, for example, if you want to make 2 or 3 recipes at once, then put the rest in an airtight container and store in the freezer.

I tried it and after about 2 weeks in the freezer, it still tasted okay when I fried it.

The type of food that can be made into frozen food is my favorite food because it saves time in serving and tastes delicious hehe.

To reduce oil, you can use an air fryer.
